Verbal Aikido International is a federation of non-profit organisations that aim at developing, promoting and creating the means for all to practice Verbal Aikido. VAI is the first world initiative to federate practitioners, facilitators and instructors in a common goal to spread this innovative and peaceful form of conflict management. Since 2009 thousands have been initiated in our simple and fun-to-learn approach, which is accessible to all from 5 to 105 years old.
We understand that conflict will always exist. What the world needs is a healthy and productive means to manage the conflicts that arise. By learning to enhance listening skills, to recognize and step out of conflict, to act from a centered position and to nurture an intention of global harmony, the future of peaceful communication emerges from the Verbal Aikido training. Through our community of Verbal Dojos, learners find their path to inner-peace and blossoming relationships.
